Hello Everyone.
Today, Zarpor has taken a large step in attempt to return to it's former glory.
Over the past several months Zarpor has been on a decline and the worst of it has occurred within the last month. The loss of Sanctuary fractured an already fragile community and the continual resignations of amazing staff members turned Zarpor into the wild west. The chaos that ensued was seen and felt by so few of our general population. The average player wouldn't know what was going on behind the scenes and probably didn't want to; however, every stone creates a ripple. The anger, the dismay, the feelings of betrayal, the sadness and the disappointment being felt by those of us who had put so much of our time into Zarpor began to leak into it and it caused nothing but harm to the very thing that has always made Zarpor so magnificent - the players.
So today, I'm announcing my return to the staff team as Co-Owner and head of the community along with my most dear friends Luke and Slayer who will return as Administrators. We are ever so excited to begin reconstructing Zarpor from it's shambles and creating a server and an environment in which every single one of us can be proud to be a part of.
Our first priority will be to reinvigorate the staff team. I want to take this opportunity to give a big shoutout to Sam, Vincent and New Bee. These gentlemen have gone above and beyond to try and keep Zarpor the finest RSPS there ever was. Their short time on the staff team has likely been the most difficult and challenging of any generation of moderators and for all their efforts and all their sacrifice, I say bravo and job well done. Now then, there are things I hope to change within the fist week. First of all, I understand there are several veteran applications still awaiting a decision. I will be seeing to those personally tonight, but any future veteran applications from now on will be met with expediency. No longer will applications take a week or more to be decided on - staff will be required to review each application as soon as it's submitted. Secondly, the appeals section has a tendency to get lost in the shuffle. Appeals shouldn't take more than a day or two to be accepted or denied because anyone who has managed to take the time to make an appeal should have the staff's full consideration. Thirdly, the rank of Head Administrator has been 'shelved', if you will, for the time being. Both Luke and Slayer are worthy of the rank and having two 'head' administrators with no lower administrators is rather redundant. They both agreed it would be best to just be administrators. When the time comes that a staff member rises through the ranks and earns such a position among the administrative team for themselves, the title of head admin will return. For now, both Luke and Slayer will be an administrative team just as Luke and I were for the beginning of the year. All these changes, and more, are being done in attempt to bring back order to a staff team that has gone astray. I look forward to working with current and future members.
Next on our list is a new vision for Zarpor in general. Since the summer, the staff team has always been convinced that what we do is best for the server and I admit to you that such a notion isn't always true. We still have our plans and our ideas about how Zarpor should grow, but I think it's time this staff team realizes that Zarpor is nothing without it's players and it's high time we start thinking about how to improve Zarpor for you and not just for us. Your input, your ideas, your everything is going to play a huge role for Zarpor in the future. There are pages and pages of accepted suggestions, voted on by you, that have yet to be reviewed and implemented and we hope to start pumping out those ideas soon. You express your concerns daily but often times go unnoticed and I hope that's changed. The easiest way of making your feelings heard is by using the forums, so get the word out! Get your friends on the server who don't normally use the forums to do so! Bring friends who normally sit on the sidelines into the community fully so the opportunity for every idea and every concern to be heard is open. Post your thoughts in the Community and Staff feedback section and we'll have an honest to goodness conversation about it. That's my promise to you. Too long have the staff and the players been thought of as two separate groups so I'll work to change that. Mutual respect for one another will be once again the soul of Zarpor.
Our work will be difficult, but not without merit. Our challenges will be fierce, but not insurmountable. We will be the best server. We will be the greatest community. We will be remembered and renowned for years to come as a missed opportunity to those who were never a part of it.
Thank you for reading. Thank you to those who trust us and for those who are unsure I will always be available to answer questions and address concerns. I'm here for Zarpor and you are Zarpor.

From now on if you've ever received a custom item either through donations, from an Owner for doing a good job, or from Server Special Events/Promotions (such as Going Green) they are not to be traded.
This was previously the rule, but it has been loosened some in recent weeks, but now it's starting to become an issue and so I'm reinforcing the old rule. Any instance in which these custom items are given to another player, the items will be taken by staff and not returned.
There is no grandfather rule in affect. I will allow everyone who has traded their custom items to another person time to recover them but if you neglect to do so the items will be taken.
This announcement affects a very very small portion of our player base, but it's getting out of hand.
Thank you.
